Salon Policies
Welcome to Laura Syrjanen Hair Studio! To ensure every guest has a seamless and relaxing experience, I have outlined my salon policies below. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Appointments
Booking: All appointments can be booked online after filling out the New Guest Inquiry form. To secure your preferred time, I recommend scheduling in advance.
Confirmation: A confirmation email or text will be sent 48 hours prior to your appointment. Please confirm your appointment to avoid cancellations.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Notice: I require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows me to accommodate other guests on my waitlist.
Late Cancellations: Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a fee of 50% of the scheduled service.
No-Shows: Guests who fail to show up without notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee.
Emergencies: Grace will be given in case of emergencies on a case by case basis at the discretion of the Stylist.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, I will do my best to accommodate your appointment. However, your service may be shortened or rescheduled to avoid inconveniencing other clients.
A grace period of 15 Minutes is given for all appointments, past that time all appointments are subject to rescheduling & 50% of the scheduled service fee.
Payment
I accept cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments. Full payment is required at the end of your appointment.
Refunds and Redo Policy
Your satisfaction is my priority. If you’re not completely happy with your service, please contact me within 10 days. I’ll gladly adjust or redo the service to meet your expectations. Refunds are not offered on services provided.
Health and Safety
To maintain a clean and safe environment, I ask that you reschedule if you’re feeling unwell.
Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult but must remain supervised at all times.
Personal Belongings
Laura Syrjanen Hair Studio is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings. Please keep your valuables secure.
Salon Etiquette
Discriminatory/Derogatory statements & actions are prohibited in the salon and will not be tolerated.
Product Purchases
Unopened retail products may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange. Opened products cannot be refunded but may qualify for an exchange.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. They must be presented at the time of service and used before their expiration date.
Photography and Social Media
I love showcasing my work! With your permission, I may take photos of your hair to share on social media. If you’d prefer not to have your photo taken, please let me know.
